Freight Company: Aquagreen products are sent via Australian Air Express (AAE) and Australia Post (AP)satchels. Deliveries via AAE are to the door and parcels will be left even if no one home. Darwin is also outside the guaranteed overnight delivery times and it can take 2 nights.

Dispatch: Live goods are sent Monday to Wednesday, which allows for two night (3 day) delivery. So do not be alarmed if your order does not turn up the next day. Dry goods are sent any weekday.

Quotes: At all times, we will quote you freight on your order. If you change your order it may well change the cost of your freight as well. (Please check with us before you make payment)

Livestock: When ordering livestock (fish and invertebrates) an Esky will be needed and they will be shipped via Aust Air Express. So if you order 1 snail you will pay for an esky and 3 kg satchel regardless.

Basic Estimation: This is a guide only and all depends on size and type of livestock.

• A bag of livestock will weigh about 350 grams (350ml of water and oxygen per bag) and you can fit 6 bags in a 5-litre esky. These are all double bagged with absorbent material added to the esky as per aircraft shipping requirements. Depending on the size of the fish 1-5 fish can fit in a bag (ten if really small). Shrimp 10-15 per bag. Snails 1-5.
• Plants and dry goods are sent Aust Post Express satchels. Plants do not weight much but some can be bulky. These will need to go in a 3kg satchel just because of the room and packing material used, ie newspaper, lunch box, cardboard box. If a single plant or a few smaller plants are ordered these can fit in recycled drink bottle and fit into a 500gram satchel.
• Chemicals - please allow for packing materials. I.e. don’t order 500 grams of chemical (and expect a 500 gram satchel). Once we package it up it will weigh more and you will need to go to the next level.
• Dinosaur Dung weights about 490grams but once we package it, it goes over the 500grams so will have to be sent in 3kg satchel. So you have 2.5kilo of freight to use. Dinosaur Pee and Spit weigh over 125grams.

Shipping Guarantee: Delays in freight, weather conditions and ruff handling are not the responsibility of Aquagreen. Please advise on the day of arrival of any problems with delivery and we will negotiate a solution. This maybe a refund on the goods ordered, a credit for your next order or a resend. Additional Freight Charges will be the responsibility of the Customer depending on the circumstances.
